On March, 26 in Horki all candidates for deputies of the Local Councils of Deputies of the 26th convocation were registered. Among them there are three democrats: Eduard Brokarau an owner of the local officially registered newspaper UzGorak, Halina Budnaja a journalist of the UzGorak, and a schoolteacher from Ausianka Zana Scharbinina.
Mr.Brokarau is a member of the party of Belarusian Popular Front, he pretends to Horki Council of Deputies and Mahilou oblast Council of Deputies. Mrs.Budnaja is a member of the party of Belarusian Popular Front either, she pretends to Horki Council of Deputies. Zana Scharbinina from Belarusian Christian Democracy Party pretends to become a deputy of Horki Council of Deputies and Ausianka Council of Deputies.
Teams of all pro-democratic candidates consist of local civil activists, members of NGOs, and independent journalists.
85 candidates registered in Horki district (there are no non-alternative constituencies), 17 of them belong to different political parties. |
