The Horki antinuclear group appealed to the leaders of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and Vladimir Putin, and to the president of the state atomic energy corporation ‘Rosatom’ Sergei Kirienko. Horki activists asked to stop negotiations about nuclear power station construction with the Belarusian government.
Horki citizens reason their appeal by Constitution which confirms antinuclear status of the Republic of Belarus.
The leader of the Horki antinuclear group Pyotr Malanachkin said that with the appeal he sent photocopies of 5,000 signatures of inhabitants of Mahilou province against atomic power station in Belarus.
Meanwhile the official authorities insist that nuclear plans of government are supported by two thirds of people.
