The deputy of Ausianka rural Council Zhanna Scharbinina is deeply disturbed by plans of local authority to build an enormous pig farm breeding 22 thousand animals near the village. According to the plan, the construction starts this year.

The street with the most perspective name Maladzioznaja (Youth street) looks terribly especially in spring. Residents of Maladzioznaja street in Ausianka (Horki region) wrote a letter to Horki authorities. They asked to help with pavement, fences, and improve street appearance.

Villages want to have a cafe

80 citizens of Ausianka village (Horki region) signed an appeal to Horki regional administration. They asked local authorities to open a cafe in Ausianka. Independent deputy of Ausianka rural Council Zhanna Scharbinina elected in March, 2010 collected signatures and passed the appeal to the Horki executive committee.

The bridge in Slabada is alright

The bridge in Horki in the region of Slabada has been reconditioned (see photo). It joins 2 streets: Lenina and Naberezhnaya.

The newspaper “UzGoraK” and the citizens beat in the bells long ago because of that useful transport way of the local scale was in neglect.

The Road at the Rytava str. is Repaired

In Horki the road at the Rytava street was repaired by local officials month ago. But on the paper only. That fact with photos of potholes and bumps were published at horki.info, in the weekly UzHorak, and even at the most popular Belarusian web-site tut.by. Publications in mass-media reproached local officials, and they repaired the road.

Children's playground has appeared at the Slabada

The government of the region fulfilled own promise: the place for the rest and physical development for children has appeared in Slabada (one of the region of Horki). That happened to the answer on the verbal appeal of the local activist Halina Budnaja who lives in Slabada.

Zhana Shcharbinina (on the photo) is a teacher and an official independent deputy who works in the Ausianka village Council in the Horki region. She has prepared special questionnaires for her voters.

Piotr Malanachkin died

Horki civic activist, a leader of the Horki antinuclear group Piotr Malanachkin died today in the morning. He will be 50 years old next month. Piotr Malanachkin actively participated in local civic and political life.

Repaint on the paper

More than 20 residents of the Rytava str. in Horki put their signatures under the petition with an appeal to repair road. People waited for the result hopefully. But they received a repaint on the paper only.
