 Members of local civic organizations and initiatives congratulated Horki youth with unofficial Independence Day. Since the morning activists distributed special color booklets with information about March 25, 1918, when first Belarusian Republic (Belarusian Democratic Republic) proclaimed its independence.

 Activists of Horki democratic groups have summarized the preliminary results of the drive for signatures. As the results show the most active on this stage of the electoral campaign to local Council were the members of Movement “For Freedom” (MFF).

 The active women from Horki began a series of ecological readings at local schools for the pupils of higher classes. At this moment the meetings have been hold at school #1 and in gymnasium #1.

The district election commission on elections to the Horki district Soviet of Deputies didn’t supply candidates with samples of documents necessary for registration.
Since 14 till 18 of February there weren’t application forms for candidates and list of members of their initiative groups.
